How We Work

Our commitment to the highest standard of care means we do not rely on external independent contractors. All of our clinicians are highly experienced, trained in multiple therapeutic modalities, and are in good standing with their respective professional colleges in Ontario. All services are either provided or supervised by a licensed clinical psychologist, ensuring they are eligible for coverage as psychological services under most extended health benefit plans in Ontario.

Consultation

Get started with a complimentary 15-minute consultation to ask questions about treatment options and get the facts.

First Appointment

Attend your first appointment. Receive a formal assessment (if needed) and continue to work with our therapy team.

Treatment Plan

Whether 3 weeks or 6 months long, our treatments are planned to each individual’s assessments and needs.

We take your detailed history of the problem as well as current symptoms. Psychological tests are often used.

Diagnostic assessment usually requires 1 or 2 sessions, concluding with collaborative development of a treatment plan.

We employ a variety of psychoeducational, cognitive, behavioural, and experiential techniques in-session, along with detailed homework exercises.

Effective psychotherapy treatment usually requires 8-10 weekly or bi-weekly sessions.
